Biography

Mladen Vekic is a renowned cinematographer and founder of Video Revolt. With a career spanning over 30 years, Mladen has established himself as a prominent figure in documentary and television. Based in the Netherlands, he is celebrated for his exceptional camera work in films such as "Out of Sync" (2010) and "Blindspot" (2008). His distinguished work in the short film "Queen of the Jubilee" (2014) earned him Best Cinematography at the Bangalore Shorts Film Festival.

His versatility extends to a variety of genres and formats including human interest stories, dramatized documentaries, food and travel programs, and drama. In television, he has contributed to notable documentaries including "It Was War" and "Hidden Past," delved into historical narratives with "Napoleon in Holland," and worked on popular dramas like "Good Times, Bad Times." His documentary "Gort Across the Border" showcases his ability to capture real-life stories with depth and nuance.
